Ukraine pledges to take all steps to advance 5+2 negotiations

Ukraine, which takes over the OSCE chair-in-office, will take all the steps necessary to make progress in the process of negotiations, both in the official format and at the level of bilateral dialogue and between work groups. The statement was made by Ukraine’s official representative for the Transnistrian issue Igor Harcenko during his meeting with Moldovan Prime Minister Vlad Filat, Info-Prim Neo reports. Igor Harcenko hopes that the participants in the process of settling the conflict will show sufficient responsibility and political maturity to advance to a new stage of dialogue, and namely that of identifying a viable solution for the final settlement of the Transnistrian conflict. Vlad Filat reiterated that Moldova’s reintegration was one of the Government’s priorities. The next round of 5+2 negotiations will take place in Dublin, on November 27-30.
