UEFA sells exclusive CL broadcasting rights in Moldova to Prime TV
UEFA has sold the exclusive Champions League broadcasting rights in Moldova to Prime TV for the years 2012-2015, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Canal 3, a subsidiary of Prime TV, said in a press release that the exclusive rights for broadcasting Champions League matches were offered to Canal 3 TV, while the semifinals and the final will be aired by Prime TV.
“The partnership with UEFA is a gift to the Moldovan football fans who were deprived of the right to watch the first two group games in the Champions League”, reads the press release.
Beginning next week, Canal 3 would broadcast Champions League matches. The first game will be Shakthar Donetsk vs Chelsea FC, on Tuesday. The match will begin at 9.45 PM and will be commented live from the Canal 3 studio. On Wednesday, the football fans will get to watch the clash between Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid CF.
The UEFA Champions League broadcasting rights apply to all broadcasting means: TV, Internet and mobile data.
