Two youths severely injured in car crash caused by high speeds
Two young men, aged 22 and 18, were severely injured in a car crash caused by high speeds on Friday night on a local road in Drochia district, Info-Prim Neo learned from the Traffic Police.
The 22-year-old driver was driving his Renault car at high speeds when he lost control over the vehicle, which skidded sideways form the road to collide with a tree.
The driver suffered a head trauma and a brain concussion, as his passenger ended up in a traumatic shock and with one of his femurs broken. Both were admitted to the district hospital.
Elsewhere, an Opel car driven by a 65-year-old man on the Chisinau-Soroca road struck a 17-year-old girl riding a bicycle. The victim was hospitalized with multiple injuries.
Over the past 24 hours, the Traffic Police recorded 10 accidents which injured 11 people and 47 other accidents with no victims.
