Two women aged 20 and 29 died in a car that overturned and caught fire. The accident happened near Sarata Noua village of Leova district last night, IPN reports.

According to the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, a Vaz car with four occupants skidded off the road and crashed into an obstacle at about 2am. Two young men managed to get out of the car. The girls, who got stuck inside, could not be saved as the vehicle started to burn as a result of the collision.

Firemen extinguished the fire and extracted the carbonized bodies of the two women. The investigators didn’t specify the relations between the victims of the accident and who is to blame for it.
