Two young people died last night in an accident on the G-17 road, near Râșcani town. The two were passengers in a car that crashed violently into a tree on the side of the road. The driver, who did not have a driver's license, and a third passenger, a minor, were seriously hurt, IPN reports.
According to the General Police Inspectorate, the driver, aged 28, got behind the wheel without having a driving license. He took three passengers with him, including a 15-year-old minor.
On the way, the driver lost control of the steering wheel while speeding. The car ran into a tree. Two young people, aged 31 and 33, died on the spot. The driver and the minor suffered seriously injuries and were transported to the hospital.
