A minor aged 16 and a young man aged 18 are suspected of murdering a persons and stealing his car. According to MAI Press center, both suspects are inhabitants of the village Malcoci, Ialoveni. They recognized that they have stolen a “Mercedes 200E” after murdering and burying the car’s owner in a grove near the village. According to police data, the car possessed by the disappeared Chisinau inhabitant, was seen the last time on Saturday, July 8, in Malcoci, with two youngsters in it. Being arrested, both of them recognized that on July 7 they saw a “Mercedes” car entering the woods of the village, and they decided to steal it. The young men were on hunting, carrying a gun that they used to “scare” the owner of the car, but the bullet ricocheted from the car’s door and killed the man in the head. After they buried him 5 km far from the venue, the young people took the car and then abandoned it on the bank of a river of the locality. The police opened a case in light of the art.145, line 3 of the Penal Code – “premeditated murder”. For this felony, the legislation stipulates a sentence of life imprisonment or from 20 to 25 years imprisonment.
