Two young men were Friday taken to the Emergency Hospital with severe injuries that they received when falling from height. Chisinau Ambulance Service managing doctor Anatol Proca has told Info-Prim Neo that they both are in a serious condition. A 20-year-old man from Bubuieci village of Chisinau municipality fell together with an electricity pole from a height of 10 meters. He suffered a concussion, fractures of the femur and clavicle and injury to the internal organs. A man aged 21 from Sangera fell from the roof of his house. He sustained a closed fracture of the skull base. Earlier, he suffered a thoracic trauma. The same day, a woman of 26 from Chisinau was found hanged in her house. Anatol Proca said the number of persons who suffer strokes is on the rise. On Friday, the Emergency Service recorded eight cases of stroke at a time when the daily average for the municipality of Chisinau is four. On Friday and on Saturday night, the Chisinau ambulance teams had dealt with 727 emergencies, including 51 cases of acute viral infection, 57 cases of trauma and eight strokes.
