Two men aged 19 and 21 from Telenesti were rushed to the hospital with serious injuries after they had been involved in a road accident on Moscovei Blvd. in Chisinau. Their motorcycle crashed into a car that was going to turn left. Chisinau Ambulance Service coordinating doctor Silvia Babara has told Info-Prim Neo that one of the young men was thrown about 15 meters forward. They both suffered femur fractures, concussions and injury to internal organs. A car overturned on the Chisinau-Leuseni road, not far from Dumbrava village. The driver's wife, daughter and a friend sustained concussions. Two students of a college aged 16 were admitted to the hospital with acute mushroom poisoning. The mushrooms were gathered in the wood and then canned. A woman aged 60 also got poisoned with mushrooms and was taken to Saint Trinity Hospital for detox. On September 16, the Chisinau Ambulance Service dealt with 734 calls, including 81 cases of trauma, 65 cases of acute viral infection, a heart attack, a stroke and 21 deliveries.
