Two men aged 19 and 21 from Glodeni district were arrested by the police after they attacked a 41-year-old man with a cudgel on an unlit road section. These tied the man and stole his rucksack with money and belongings, IPN reports.

According to the General Police Inspectorate, the suspects were placed under arrest for 30 days and face eight to ten years in jail for attack.

In this connection, the police warn the people to avoid walking in isolated areas and use crowded places even if this implies changing the route and to seek help from the police on 902 in emergencies.
