A child aged two from Bobulesti village of Floresti district is searched by rescuers and the police. The last time this was seen playing on the bank of the Raut River.

Local social worker Dora Palamarciuc has told IPN that on May 9 the child went for a walk together with an elder neighbor. The elder child returned alone and could not explain where the smaller kid was.

The Civil Protection and Emergencies Service was alerted at 4:22pm. The searches lasted until late evening, but didn’t produce results. They were resumed this morning, including underwater searches in the Raut.

Anyone with any information about the whereabouts of the child is asked to call 901 or 902.
