A two-year-old child was hospitalized for multiple injury treatment after the horse-drawn cart driven by his mother veered off the road and overturned last night in Climatuti village, Soldanesti district.
The 27-year-old had been celebrating the Women’s Day and when the police arrived at the scene, the breathalyzer read 0.83 mg/l. The child was taken to the district hospital.
A criminal case has been opened and the penalty will depend on the extent of injuries suffered by the child.
According to the road police, in two days alone 27 drivers were discovered being under the influence.
