A boy aged two, wearing only a diaper and slippers, was found alone on a street in Bender town. He was noticed by a passerby who called out the police. The child was dirty and hungry, IPN reports.

According to the ministry of the interior of Tiraspol, the police hadn’t been informed about a missing child and the boy wasn’t looked for. The actions to find the mother started in the area in which the boy was discovered. She was found inebriated with a child aged three months, who was also in a state of neglect.

It was determined that the children’s mother aged 25 is from Hagimus village and lived temporarily in Bender.

Both of the children were taken to the Mother and Child Center for checkups. The child protection bodies are investigating the case. The mother risks being deprived of parental rights. She can also be held accountable for not fulfilling her parental duties.
