The boy aged two from Bobulesti village of Floresti district, who went missing a week ago, was found drowned in the Raut River on May 16. The body was discovered almost 15 km from the place where the child was seen last.

Contacted by IPN, press officer of the Floresti Police Inspectorate Dina Fomin said a medical examination will be performed. Preliminarily, it was established that the boy drowned. The body was found in the Raut, not far from Ghindesti village.

The child went missing on May 9. His mother said she left him unsupervised for a while only.
