Two women and child fall from height
An unidentified woman died on the way to the hospital after falling from the fifth floor of an apartment building in Chisinau.
Evelina Rusu, coordinating doctor at the Chisinau Ambulance Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that the ambulance was called to 33 Zelinski St. The woman, who was under the influence, was lying on the ground. The ambulance doctors established that she suffered a serious associated trauma, a concussion and multiple fractures. She died shortly afterward in the ambulance.
Another woman aged 34 fell from a height of about three meters at her workplace on Petricani St. The woman was taken to the Emergency Hospital with an associated trauma, a cranial-cerebral trauma, rib fractures and contusions.
A boy aged one year and two months fell through the open window from the first floor of an apartment building. He suffered leg injuries and was admitted to Valentin Ignatenco Hospital.
A girl of the same age from Ciorescu village found a bottle of acetic acid of 70% and drank from it. She was rushed to the Mother and Child Center for gastric lavage and additional examinations.
A 26-year-old man was hospitalized with a knife wound in the right arm. He said he received it during a family quarrel.
A boy aged 15 and a man aged 59 suffered sunstroke in the street.
An unidentified man in his 40s was found dead in a yard on Onisifor Ghibu St. A man aged 53 died suddenly at home.
Yesterday and last night, the Chisinau Ambulance Service responded to 820 calls, dealing with 74 cases of acute viral infection, 74 cases of trauma, two strokes, 22 deliveries and other cases.
