Two men held at the Penitentiary No. 6 in Soroca town escaped from the prison’s open sector in the morning of November 10. According to the Department of Penitentiary Institutions, the two scaled the wall and disappeared in the local wood, IPN reports.
The men are aged 23 and 32. They were serving two years and eight months and, respectively, five years. The open sectors of jails are intended for persons convicted of offenses committed out of imprudence.
If their blame is proven, the two will get up to six years’ imprisonment for escape.
