Two men were rushed to the combustion center in Chisinau with multiple burns that they received in an explosion at the workplace. Dorina Cruc, spokeswoman for the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that the accident occurred at a company in Ciocana district on Wednesday, at about 14.30. A short circuit on the electrical panel caused an explosion of the gas leaking from a cylinder. Two employees of the company have been injured in the explosion. According to the Chisinau Emergency Hospital, a 42-year-old man suffered burns of the second and third degrees on the hands, face and buttocks. The second man aged 48 received burns of the second and third degrees on the hands, face and legs. Five fires happened in Moldova on October 7.
