Two persons died, while another three, one of whom a minor, suffered different traumas in a road accident that involved four cars near Vatra town, on the road towards Cojușna village, in the evening of December 21.

General Police Inspectorate press officer Mariana Bețivu has told IPN that a car and a minibus collided initially. The victims, a man and a woman in their 40s, were in the car together with their child. The driver and a passenger of the minibus were hurt, with the passenger being in a serious state.

According to the General Inspectorate for Emergencies, three rescue and firefighting teams travelled to the scene and extricated three persons from the tangled vehicles.

An investigation is under way.
