Two persons lost their lives and 11 were traumatised in Chisinau in road accidents during the last two days. Road Security Service Inspector Ion Roscovanu told Info-Prim Neo that the two tragic accidents occurred on Saturday evening in Buiucani district. An unidentified woman was deadly injured by a Volkswagen Transporter on Chisinau-Ungheni roadway, 400 metres far from Nord-Vest motel at 19.30. The vehicle was driven by a man aged 43 from Ungheni. Police asks help from the population to identify the about 60-65 year old woman, 1.60 metres tall, grey headed. She was wearing a brown jacket, violet sweater, black pants and check dress. Those who know anything about the identity of the woman are asked to call on 902, 25-27-01, 88-92-19. At 22.00 a trolleybus on route no. 29, driven by a young man aged 23 has deadly injured a man aged 36 from Hancesti. Both accidents are investigated by the Road Police. A man aged 41 from Durlesti town was lucky not to suffer severe injuries after a serious road accident. The man was speeding on his Mazda-626, side-slipped on the frozen road and entered the opposite traffic lane, running into a power pillar. As a result the pillar crashed down and the man suffered only a shoulder concussion.
