Two persons killed in road accidents

The six accidents that happened in Moldova on February 28 resulted in two deaths and seven persons injured. Paulina Yakimovski, of the Traffic Police Department's press office, has told Info-Prim Neo that a Rover driven by a 44-year-old man struck a pedestrian aged 56 in Chisinau. The doctors fought to save his life, but he died in several hours. The traffic police in Cahul found the body of a 29-year-old man and a seriously injured 17-year-old minor on a road. The two were traveling in a cart when they were hit by a car. The driver left the car on the scene and ran away. A woman fell from a Honda at the intersection of Mitropolit Dosoftei and Mihai Viteazu streets in Chisinau. The 32-year-old woman was taken to the hospital with a fracture of the nasal bones. Three young men received different traumas when the car in which they were traveling ran into a lamp post. The driver was speeding and lost control of the car.
