Two persons injured by an electric pole

An unlucky driver has crashed into an electric pole. Because of the collision, the pole fell on the vehicle, Info-Prim Neo reports. The accident occurred around 9 PM, at the crossroad between the Belinski and Pelivan streets. The 36 year old driver broke a finger. Her daughter, aged 12, has suffered a concussion and was taken to the Valentin Ignatenco Hospital, according to Silvia Babara, coordinator of the Chisinau Emergency Service. A Dacia automobile has run over a 78 year old pensioner on the Dumitru Rascanu Street. The victim reached the hospital with a severe concussion, and an open wound in the jaw region and several nasal fractures. At the crossing of the Stefan cel Mare and Toma Ciorba streets, a 51 year old man was hit by a Dacia vehicle. He suffered a fracture of his right foot’s joint. Another pedestrian, aged 58, ended up in the Emergency Hospital with a tibial fracture after being hit by a Skoda on the Hancesti highway. Around 8:30 PM, a BMW ran over a 42 year old woman on the Liviu Deleanu Street. She bruised her left femur. Over the last year, more than 2000 car accidents have taken place on Moldovan roads.
