Two persons of the five injured in the road accident that happened near Guranda village of the Romanian county Botosani in the morning of March 7 are still in the hospital. The victims - two women aged 25 and 31 - are from the Republic of Moldova. The information wad communicated by the PR adviser of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ana Samson, IPN reports.
Moldova’s Consulate General in Iasi said there were seven persons in the car. Five of these were hurt. Two women remain in the hospital. The six-month-old child, who was in the car involved in the accident, was examined by pediatricians, but there was not need to hospitalize him.
It was preliminarily established that the driver of a car with Moldova license numbers going from Vama Stanca to Botosani municipality lost control of the vehicle and this overturned at a dangerous turn. According to officer Ionut Apostol, of the Botosani Traffic Police Service, the driver didn’t adjust the speed to the conditions on the road, which was wet.
