Two young persons from Chisinau got poisoned with unknown substances, allegedly drugs, on Wednesday, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to sources in the Chisinau Emergency Hospital, a 26-year-old man was found unconscious on the stairs of an apartment building on Dimo Street in Chisinau. When taken to the ambulance, the man regained consciousness and, breaking loose, ran away. In the second case, a minor aged 15 was found by his mother in a confused state of mind. The ambulance doctors presumed that he was under the influence of drugs. A Mercedes minibus running on route 104 hit a 34-year-old woman on Valea Crucii St. The woman was rushed to the Emergency Hospital with a concussion and contusion of the soft tissues. A man aged 26 was struck by a Dacia car on Ismail St. He was taken to the hospital with a fracture of the right maleole and contusion of the knee. As a result of a collision between a Toyota RAV-4 jeep and a Mercedes on Ion Creanga Street, the female passenger of the jeep aged 33 sustained injuries and a concussion. Yesterday and last night, the Chisinau Emergency Hospital recorded 679 calls, dealing with 68 cases of acute viral infections, 69 cases of trauma and two strokes.
