Two parties from Moldova and Romania sign partnership agreement

The Social Democracy Party of Moldova (PDSM) and the Social Democrat Party of Romania (PSDR) signed the Cooperation and Partnership Agreement. According to the agreement, PSDR and PSDM will strengthen political partnership via periodical contacts between departments and work groups, coordinating the standpoints of both parties’ MPs within the frameworks of international Parliamentary bodies, permanently cooperating in light of preparing legislative proposals which would improve the legislative framework of Moldova in compliance with the standards of the European Union, exchanging projects as regards European integration, economic reform, protection of property, fighting against poverty etc. The agreement provides experience exchange at local and regional levels as well as seminars, meetings and joint projects. At the meeting, the participants discussed about the political and economic relations between Romania and Moldova. Titus Corlatean, vice-president of PSDR, Dan Mihalache, Romanian MP, General Secretary of PSD, Victor Bostinaru, international secretary PSD, Dumitru Braghis, leader of PDSM, Iurie Bolboceanu and Ecaterina Mardarovici, vice-presidents of PDSM participated in the signing ceremony.
