Two nurses of Municipal Dermato-Venereological Dispensary in Chisinau are under criminal investigation for systematically asking for money from various economic agents and individuals for drawing up personal health records. Officers of the National Anticorruption Center raided the Medical Control Section on Wednesday, IPN reports.
According to the NAC, the nurses allegedly requested from economic agents amounts between 1 000 and 8 000 lei, depending on the number of employees for whom personal health records were needed. Amounts of 250 to 1 000 lei were requested from individuals for the same services.
Following searches, objects and documents relevant to the case were seized. The suspects are being investigated in a state of freedom.
