Works to set up two multifunctional stadiums with a seating of 1,100 were lunched in the Chisinau Park “La izvor”. Football and tennis could be played there. There will be running tracks and a number of areas with gazebos, mayor general Ion Ceban stated in a news conference, being quoted by IPN.

According to the mayor, a parking lot with at least 400 places will be built there. The drivers who will enter the park with the car without authorization will be penalized.

Ion Ceban also said that similar works will be performed in other parks of the capital city. In Buiucani district of Chisinau, 5-6 km-long tracks for walking, running and cycling will be set up this year.
