The COVID-19 infectious disease claimed two more lives in Moldova, of a 66-year-old woman and a 77-year-old woman, both from Chisinau, IPN has learned from the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection.
According to the Ministry, the woman aged 66 was admitted to the National Clinical Hospital on April 8. She suffered from hepatic insufficiency. The second woman was taken to the Emergency Medicine Institute on April 4. She suffered from cardiac insufficiency and diabetes.
Two more persons died of COVID-19 in the first half of April 24: a woman aged 57 from Edineț and a 75-year-old man from Ștefan Vodă.
The death toll from the novel coronavirus in Moldova rose to 84.
