Andrei Năstase, nominated by a group of citizens, and Octavian Țîcu, the candidate of the “Together” electoral bloc, may officially start their presidential campaigns after the Central Electoral Commission Monday approved their registration.

This brings the total number of registered candidates to 8, with 4 submissions still pending.

The preliminary order on the ballot paper is as follows:

1. Alexandr Stoianoglo, the Socialist Party;

2. Maia Sandu, the Solidarity and Action Party;

3. Renato Usatîi, Our Party;

4. Vasile Tarlev, the Party for the Future of Moldova;

5. Ion Chicu, the Consolidation and Development Party;

6. Irina Vlah, independent;

7. Andrei Năstase, independent;

8. Victoria Furtună, independent;

9. Octavian Țîcu, Together Bloc;

10. Tudor Ulianovschi, nominated by a group of citizens;

11. Igor Munteanu, nominated by the Coalition for Unity and Welfare;

12. Natalia Morari, nominated by a group of citizens.

Only registered candidates are allowed to engage in campaigning activities.
