The holder of Moldova’s Futsal Supercup JLC Chisinau will not be able to count on two players of the national team in the new season. Constantin Burdujel and Alexandru Timbalist transferred to Surgut team in Russia’s third league.
“It is a much more serious competition than the National Division. We play many matches, both in the championship and in other tournaments,” Constantin Burdujel stated for IPN.
Eugen Natskovski, of Tarsus, is on trial at Surgut. Burdujel and Timbalist won Moldova’s Cup two times, with ASET and JLC. Both became vice champions of Moldova four times with three different teams.
Among other Moldovans playing abroad are Sergiu Tacot and Alexei Muntean, who both play for Parnassos Nicosia of Cyprus, and Nicolae Neagu, who is the goalkeeper of the Polish team Pogoni 04 Szczecin. The last is also a goalkeeper trainer at the Polish national squad.
