Two Moldovans died and one was hurt in a traffic accident near the Ukrainian village Piatniсhеani of Lvov region on March 31. The accident involved a Belarusian route minibus and the vehicle with Moldovans. A part of the bus passengers were hurt, IPN reports.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova confirmed the information that the hurt Moldovan was hospitalized and his state of health is stable. Moldova’s Embassy in Kyiv will cooperate with the Ukrainian authorities and will offer assistance in repatriating the two dead persons to the relatives.

The Ukrainian press reported that the accident was caused by the driver of the vehicle as this went to the contraflow lane. As a result of the impact, the bus ended up in a ditch. Of the 42 passengers on board, at least 12 suffered injuries of different severity.
