Two Moldovan citizens died in an accident on the DN 11 Brasov-Tirgu Secuiesc road near Moacsa commune of Romania in the morning of July 31. A car registered in Moldova crashed into a road train registered in Arges County. Two of the three occupants of the car died on the spot, IPN reports.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova, which makes reference to information provided by the Romanian police, the driver of the car with Moldovan license numbers lost control of the vehicle and this skidded to the counterflow lane, where it was struck by the road train.
The 28-year-old driver of the car and a passenger aged 57 were killed. The road train driver and a passenger of the car were rushed to the hospital.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration also said that another Moldovan aged 37 was hurt in a road accident on the A4 highway in Austria’s Bruck on July 30. Two cars registered in Romania collided. According to the police of the State of Lower Austria, the injured citizen was hospitalized in Baden.
