Border police officers arrested two men who had a sack with about 3 kg of hemp in it. The men, aged 25 and 40, are residents of Floresti and Balti town, IPN reports.

In a communiqué, the Border Police says that the men were caught near Costesti. They were heading for the border. Being stopped for a check, they couldn’t explain what they were doing there and couldn’t present identification papers. The sack was sent to a lab for examination.

The man will be investigated for keeping narcotic substances.
