Two Moldovans caught in attempt to take children out of the country, using fake documents
Two Moldovan citizens, now living in Italy, have tried to take their children out of the country using fake documents, Info-Prim Neo has learnt from the Border Guards Service.
The first case has been tracked at the Leuseni border crossing point, when a citizen produced two Italian visas for him and his 5-year-old son. The border guards started to doubt the authenticity of the document belonging to the minor. They established the act to be forged. Then the 28-year-old father from Cimislia told the border guards he bought the document in Italy.
Later, at the same border-crossing point, a 41-year old woman from Chisinau was detained for similar infractions. She presented the border guards three Italian residence visas: one for her and two for her children aged 8 and 10. The documents of the minor passengers were forged. The suspect told the border guards she bought the documents abroad. The law-enforcement bodies probe the two cases.
