Two Moldovan MPs on official visit to Ukraine. Bucha is first destination

Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu and PAS MP Lilian Carp are paying an official visit to Kyiv, Ukraine. Bucha town is the first destination, IPN reports.

“We started the official visit to Ukraine in Bucha town , which is one of the Kyiv suburbs that witnessed unimaginable atrocities on the part of the Russian Army. This war should be stopped, while the war crimes should be investigated and punished,” Igor Grosu posted on his Facebook page.

Ukraine accused Russian forces of committing war crimes and a “massacre” in Bucha, a town just 30km northwest of the capital Kyiv, after the bodies of unarmed Ukrainian civilians and mass graves were found there. Bodies of civilians - many with bound hands, close-range gunshot wounds and signs of torture - were found on the streets after Ukrainian troops reclaimed the town.

In the Republic of Moldova, April 4 was declared a national morning day in memory of the victims of the Russ-Ukrainian war.
