Two minors died and another minor was injured in a car accident at the exit from Ciucur-Mingir village of Cimișlia district last night.

It was preliminarily determined that a 15-year-old teen who was driving a car with two more occupants, aged 13 and 15, on one of the arteries of the village, lost control of the vehicle and ran this into a tree, the General Police Inspectorate has said.

As a result of the impact, the driver and the 15-year-old passenger who was on the back seat died on the spot. The other passenger aged 13 was taken to the Cimișlia District Hospital for medical care.

Representatives of the Cimișlia District Hospital said that the minor currently is at the Mother and Child Institute in Chisinau. Spokesman for the Institute Maxim Cazacu has told IPN that the minor was brought in a serious condition with a number of traumas. The patient is now in the surgical care unit.
