Two children aged three and five and their 37-year-old mother were rushed to the hospital after they got poisoned by fumes in a house on Alba Iulia St in Chisinau yesterday evening, IPN reports.

According to the Inspectorate for Emergencies, the children and their mother got poisoned while sleeping following a short circuit in an electrical outlet. The emergency services were called out by neighbors. The children and the woman were swiftly transported to the Mother and Child Institute.

Contacted by IPN, press officer of the Mother and Child Institute Maxim Cazacu said the patients were examined by doctors and received medical care. Their state of health wasn’t serious and they were allowed to go home.
