Two men from Trebujeni village of Orhei district will be investigated for poaching boars with illegally held guns near the forest strip Taganga, Info-Prim Neo has learnt from the Interior Ministry’s press service. The police said that during the arrest they found three killed wild boars that were seized and sent to the Preventive Veterinary Medicine Service in Orhei. The men are liable to fine of up to 10,000 lei or imprisonment of up to three years. According to the Interior Ministry, the hunting season will open in the second half of August, when it is allowed to hunt quails, pigeons and swimming birds. The boars could be hunted from November 1 until December 31, but only under the authorization of the Hunters and Fishermen Society of Moldova.
