According to a communique from the press service of the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, one of the men worked at a depth of about 10 meters. At a certain moment, he gave no signs of life. The other man went down the well to take him out, but died there too.

Villagers called a rescuers team from Nisporeni, who took out the bodies of the two men. Most probably, they poisoned themselves with gas emitted by the motor pump.

The Civil Protection and Emergencies Service urges caution when doing such works. Help should be sought from specialized teams so as to avoid tragedies.
