Two men discovered dead at Jewish Cemetery

Two men were found dead in the room of the guard of the Jewish Cemetery in Soroca town. They died from carbon monoxide poisoning. Sergiu Chircu, of the Rescuers and Firefighters Division, has told Info-Prim Neo that the men, aged 35 and 45, were discovered dead on the bed. The bedclothes and their clothes were partly burned. Most probably, the fire was caused by a burning cigarette. The fire smouldered and then stopped burning. The 530 fires that happened in Moldova since the start of this year resulted in 78 deaths, including of a child. In the same period last year, 559 fires caused 82 deaths.
