A man and a woman perished in a road accident that happened at the intersection of the Chisinau streets Dacia and Bacioii Noi in the afternoon of July 16. Another two persons were rushed to the hospital.

The powerful collision involved a Mercedes and a VAZ. An investigation is under way. Contacted by phone by IPN’s reporter, head of the Chisinau Police Division’s press service Adrian Jovmir said the circumstances of the accident and who is to blame for it are not yet known. The persons who died were occupants of the VAZ. Both of the drivers were taken to the hospital.

Head of the Emergency Medicine Department Igor Kurov has told IPN that the two persons brought to the hospital were being examined.
