A woman, 52, and a man, 20, died after the cars they were in collided head-on on road R-8 Otaci-Edinet. According to the Traffic Police Department, the accident was caused by the 22-year-old female driver of a Mercedes who drove her car across the center line to impact it with a VAZ car, driven by the 20-year-old man. The 52-year-old passenger of the Mercedes died on the spot. Both drivers were rushed to the district hospital, where the VAZ driver died few hours later. The case is investigated by the Ocnita Police Commissariat.
