Two killed in fire in Ungheni

Two men aged 40 and 46 perished in a fire in a guards cabin situated on the territory of an agricultural company in Napadeni village of Ungheni district.

Contacted by IPN to provide details, press office of the General Inspectorate for Emergencies Liliana Puscasu said the room that was about 8 square meters in area was destroyed by fire, but the bodies weren’t carbonized. It is presumed that the men died from carbon monoxide poisoning.

The firemen were alerted by locals and two firefighting teams travelled to the scene. It happened in the afternoon of January 11.
