Two persons were rushed to the hospital with injuries that they sustained in a road accident on the Chisinau-Leușeni road, close to Leușeni village. The information was confirmed for IPN by senior press officer of the Hâncești Police Inspectorate Cristina Vicol.

The police established that a car driven by a woman aged 28 from Hâncești district, when intending to turn left to a parking place, didn’t give way to a bus coming from the opposite direction and the vehicles collided head-on. The bus was projected into another vehicle driven by a man aged 37.

As a result of the impact, the female driver who caused the accident and a 69-year-old female passenger from the car were taken to the Hâncești District Hospital for being offered medical assistance.

An investigation is under way to determine all the circumstances of the road accident.
