The auxiliary school nr 7 has been sanctified on the occasion of the Day of Institution, marked on Friday October 27, on the Saint Parascheva feast, and also on the occasion of finishing the renovation works. The building of the school was founded in 1904. The institution’s administration and the teachers do not remember when a renovation was carried out last time. The dream of children and teaching staff to change the things came true, director of the school Victoria Ştempliuc says. MDL 300 thousand were allotted from the municipal budget for the renovation of the auxiliary school nr 7. New furniture and equipment for workshops will be purchased in the next year. The interim mayor of Chisinau Vasile Ursu, who patronizes this institution, made an important book donation and students received a satchel each. This event was also important for the students of theoretic lyceum “Alexandru I. Cuza” from Poşta Veche district. There a study block (building) for the forms of art and theater profile was put in commission. The Lyceum’s director Maria Nicoara says that the building was about to be demolished, the requests for renovation being submitted to the municipality 12 year ago. The renovation works were estimated at MDL half million. The Lyceum’s administration says that the esthetical study building will be ensured with furniture by sponsors, who have already reached an agreement. About 1200 students study at the “Al. I. Cuza” Lyceum.
