Two men, 37 and 39, died in a road accident last night near Hagimus village, Causeni district.

Corina Repesciuc, press officer of the Căușeni Police Inspectorate, told IPN that the accident involved two cars that collided head-on. One caught fire, and the driver's body was charred. The other driver died instantly. Nobody else was inside the cars.

According to the press officer, the 39-year-old driver is believed to have veered onto the wrong side of the road, but further investigation is needed. Post-mortems will also show whether or not the drivers were under the influence.
