The Cabinet approved a decision to set up commissions for organizing and holding contests to fill upper-level public posts following the recently adopted legislative changes by which the public posts of secretary general of the Government, secretary general of state, secretary general, head and deputy head of local offices of the State Chancellery were replaced by the public dignity posts of secretary general of the Government, secretary of state, head and deputy head of local offices of the State Chancellery, IPN reports.
There was also instituted the public post of secretary general of the ministry with the status of public executive functionally of the upper level.
The commissions will consist of seven members who will include representatives of civil society and specialists with experience in public administration nominated by the Government.
There will also be set up a standing commission for organizing and holding contests to fill upper-level public posts.
The decisions take effect when they are approved.
