At around 10:00, a 1444 taxi struck an elderly man, 73, in the intersection of the streets Moscova and Russo. The man suffered brain concussion and was hospitalized. At around 13:00, two cars collided on Calea Basarabiei street. An 18-year-old female passenger in one of the cars suffered thigh contusion. At around the same time, a Mercedes collided with a VAZ in the suburban commune of Truseni. A boy, 15, was hospitalized with a bleeding wound on his left shank. Another minor, also aged 15, was struck by a 1406 taxi in the intersection of the boulevards Ismail and Cantemir. The boy was admitted to the Valentin Ignatenco Hospital with fractures of the right forearm. 740 emergency calls were received on Tuesday, including for 62 cases of trauma and 69 cases of acute viral infections.
