Two children from Chisinau have reached hospital after getting intoxicated with fresh mushrooms. One of them is in a grave condition. The coordinating doctor of the Emergency Service, Eufalia Negreaţă, has told Info-Prim Neo that, although the children live in different places and ate the mushrooms on different days, the boys aged 11 and 15 ate fresh mushrooms bought from the market. A woman of 35 has tried to kill herself taking pills, while a man of 49 has cut his arm veins for the same purpose. Both were taken to hospital. A 4-grade boy of a sportive high school was hit by a Volkswagen-Transporter in an intersection in Buiucani district of Chisinau and was taken to the hospital with fractures and concussion of internal organs. For the last day and night, the Ambulance doctors got 738 appeals, including 48 cases reporting traumas, 66 - acute viral diseases, 8 brain strokes and 59 cases of mumps. During the same period, the traffic police recorded one road accident resulting in an injured person and 23 minor accidents, as well as 10 intoxicated drivers 53 speeders.
