A seven-year-old girl and her brother aged seven months, who were left without supervision, sustained burns and other injuries in a home explosion in Bălăbănești village of Criuleni district, IPN reports.

The General Inspectorate for Emergencies said the two children remained home alone in the evening of November 19. The girl tried to start the fire in the stove with gasoline and caused an explosion.

The minors were rushed to the Mother and Child Institute in Chisinau.
