Two children aged 14 and 15 from died when they pulled the pin of a grenade and this exploded. It happened in Tarigrad village of Drochia district in the evening of November 2.

Press officer of the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service Diana Turcan has told IPN that according to preliminary reports, it was an F1 grenade. The children were home alone. It’s not yet known where the minors found the grenade and where the grownups were when the tragedy occurred.

The police and a bomb squad travelled to the scene. An investigation is underway.

The boys were cousins.
