A 6-year-old boy and an 11-year-old girl were electrocuted while playing in the park located at the intersection of Sarmisegetusa St and Cuza Vodă Blvd in Botanica district of the capital city. The children were rushed to the hospital by an ambulance. The girl could not be saved, IPN reports.

According to the General Police Inspectorate, it was preliminarily established that the two children were playing in the park and at one point they touched some wires that produced a short circuit.

All the specialized services travelled to the scene. A criminal case was initiated on this incident
